We will install the CMS program that we use on this very site: Drupal. To that end:

Drupal script: we will install the default Drupal script on your current host (and we will necessarily create a new database),

themes: we will add to the default installation 60+ themes (the default installation has 1 theme),

add-ons: we will add to the default installation a number of  add-ons we have found very useful on this site. For example,

• an add-on that will enable you to edit the content of your web pages as you would in Word ie. by the use of a toolbar,
   
• an add-on that will enable you to change text into a picture,
   
• an add-on that will enable you to have your pictures shown full size via a mouse click just as it works on this very site,
   
• an add-on that will enable you to make your web pages search engine friendly by allowing you to set their meta tags,
   
• and more ...

We cannot make a list of all the add-ons we would add as we always adding to this list as we find new exciting and functional add-ons.

To Help You Get Started

Furthermore, to help you get started with your web site, we will take care of all the setting up and configuration so that all you will need to do is add content to your pages. To that end:

template: we will activate the template that you like the best,

banner, logo and slogan: we will put together a great banner, logo and slogan for your web site,

blank web pages: we will prepare 5 blank web pages with appropriate links on the menu. All you will need to do then is add content to these pages,

'contact us' page: we will set up a fully functioning 'contact us' page so visitors to your site will be able to contact you by email.

All this for only $295

Requirements

In order for us to be able to install a fully functioning copy of Drupal on your host, there are certain requirements that your host will need to meet. If you are not sure about how to check these, get in touch with your host and ask them if you can run Drupal on your web site

The short list requirements for Drupal are:

• Apache 1.3 or Apache 2.x hosted on UNIX/Linux
   
• recommended: PHP 5.2 or higher, required: PHP version 4.3.5 or higher
   
• recommended database: MySQL 4.1 or MySQL 5.0

Be aware that to use Drupal to manage your web site means that you will need to do all the work online through your browser. Drupal currently supports the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer 6.x and later
   
• Firefox 2.x and later
   
• Opera 7 and later
   
• Safari 1.x and later
   
• Camino 1.x and later

Not Included

Our standard service does not include:

the purchase of a domain name such as www.my-business.com, and

hosting which is the 'location' where your web site is available for all to see online.

However, we can help you with both these if you are not sure about how to get a domain name or how to do the 'hosting' thing.

Learn to 'Drive'

Also, we will not offer free tutoring on how to use Drupal. Once we have setup the CMS site for you, it will be up to you to learn how to 'drive' it.

We will, of course, let you know where you can go online to access the manual for Drupal and where you will be able to find a forum where you will be able to post any problems you have.

We apologise in advance for this but we are not in a position where we can effectively teach all our customers how to use Drupal.
